Nocona

Baby Female Siberian Husky / Mixed

This pet is no longer available for adoption.

Nocona is a beautiful and very very sweet grey and whtie blue eyed female siberian husky. She was found as a stray and brought to the city kill shelter but no one claimed her. She is appx 6-8 months of age and currently appx 35 lbs. Nocona is a very good natured youngster. She gets along with all other dogs she's met.........with small dogs she wants to use her paws to touch them and play with them and might be too rough.. She is currently in a foster home in Brooklyn NY with 5 other siberians (thank you Claudia & Matt for helping save her life). She pulls a little on leash, is crate trained and appears to be mostly housebroken. She appears to have no fears of people of all sizes and shapes including children. She will be tested further this week with cats. Nocona is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped. She will be heartworm and fecal tested this week. posted 8/5 Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. *Adopters MUST be at least 25 yrs old and reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do homevisits prior to the pup going to its new home. *We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience. *We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall. Adoptions Application
