Adult Female Boxer / Labrador Retriever / Mixed

Kelly is a 2 year old Boxer/Lab. She was hit by a car at night and left to die, suffering as she lay alongside a North Carolina highway with sleet covering her body. Vehicles passed her for 24 hours and only one stopped to check on her as she weakly lifted her head. Animal Control was called and Kelly ended up in a gassing/heart-stick shelter where she languished with no vet care. Thanks to Pilots n Paws she was flown to New Jersey, taken to a vet, and diagnosed with a crushed pelvis and fractured leg. After a long vet stay and recovery, she has completely healed. Her survival is a miracle and now she needs a forever home. Kelly is good with children, dogs and cats. Her vet care includes spay, blood-work, all vaccines and microchip.
