ADOPTION PENDING--My name is Fate, and as you can see, I love to play with my babies! I have five puppies: Twinkie, Tiny, Ewok, Sister Bear and Max. We were all found beneath an abandoned trailer in Georgia and placed in a shelter. We were about to be euthenized--all of us--before Husky House saved us. I am a petite lab mix with brown hair with copper highlights. You should see how shiny I am after my bath! I am small for a lab, and very timid and sweet. You can bathe me, give me medicine, pick me up--I am totally sweet and submissive. I am a bit afraid of new people and experiences, but I am learning not to be so scared. I love my babies and always keep an eye on them. I am really not much more than a puppy myself, about 1 year old. I am great with other dogs--I let them boss me around, but I am getting much braver and playing with my husky foster family--and I like cats too! Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ/Philadephia area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
