Young Female Siberian Husky / Mixed

COME & MEET ME on Saturday, 12/15/07 at an Adoption/Santa Photo Day at Club Barks, 86 Lackawanna Avenue, West Paterson, NJ from noon-4PM, check the Events Tab for more information. We will have lots of Door Prizes and be running a 50/50 too! Portia, barely a year old and found running the streets (and our thanks to Toni of Mid- Atlantic Great Dane Rescue from saving her from becoming another statistic!). She is a beautiful black and white, bi eyed Sibe, with a lovely temperament, but no cats please! She does seem to be housebroken. She is very good with other dogs. Portia is currently fostering with two male Sibes and two very small children (ages 4 & 2), she likes to give them kisses. She is a very sweet-natured girl! Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. *The minimum age for adopters is 23 yrs. old and you must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do homevisits prior to the pup going to its new home. *We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. *We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall. Adoptions Application
