Hi, my name is Chewy! I am approx. 3 years old and an absolute doll. I'm also very handsome, if I do say so myself. I also get along very well with other dogs my own size or slightly smaller. I'm currently fostering with a female husky that's smaller than me. I don't like kitty-cats so if you have one, I won't be the right match for you! I'm housebroken and just an absolute joy. I also may have epilepsy as I've had a few seizures but don't let that stop you from loving me! I'm approximately 3 years old. My new foster family loves me. I walk well on a leash, I'm not a puller, like my breed is known for. Won't you please be that special someone who makes me their lifetime companion? This is what my foster mommy says about me: Chewy is a gorgeous red and white husky. His temperment is on the mild side for a young husky. He gives kisses, plays nicely with other dogs, and has adapted very easily to his new foster home. He is not food aggressive but don't leave anything laying around, it'll be missing quickly! In just 2 days, he has almost learned the sit command. He has had a few potty accidents, but we are in the process of housebreaking him. Chewy is a big baby who would make a wonderful family pet. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. *The minimum age for adopters is 23 yrs. old and you must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do homevisits prior to the pup going to its new home. *We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. *We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall. Adoptions Application
