Munchkin

Adult Female Siberian Husky / Mixed

This girl was found in Annadale, Staten Island on 1/1/07 12:30am. She is a Husky mix female, approximately 12 yrs old & now in desperate need of a home. Her owners were located thru a microchip she has implanted in her & we discovered that they don’t want her back. We had vetted her, taken some bloods & gotten her anti-biotic for an infection she has & they don’t want to pay nor do they want her returned. I guess that is a fitting end to a life of 12 years with this family. We are calling her Munchkin now, she is already spayed, bi-eyed & weighs 39 lbs. These photos don’t do her justice. She is just so petite, calm & loving, you wouldn’t even know she were around nor does she seem her age at all. Our vet didn’t think she were anywhere near 12. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. *The minimum age for adopters is 25 yrs. old and you must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do homevisits prior to the pup going to its new home. *We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. *We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment.
