Update: May 2007. Penelope aka Penny has been adopted by good friends of Husky House NYC. Our sweet little Penelope, needs a foster home or permanent home ASAP! She is approximately 7-8 years old. Our adults need a home as much, if not more, than the puppies, please help Penelope if you can! We also accept donations for her boarding fees, which are mounting up every month. Please click on our donations tab for more information. This sweet little girl whom we havent given a new name yet, was initially found as stray and brought to a kill shelter in NY. She has a biscuit and white long coat. Appx 13 lbs. She is sweet , friendly, good about being picked up and seems to like car rides. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. *Adopters MUST be at least 23 yrs old and reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do homevisits prior to the pup going to its new home. *We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience. *We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment.
