Adult Male Alaskan Malamute / Mixed

Hulk is a 6 year old very large male alaskan malamute. He is currently recovering from case of upper respiratory. He has some stiffness in his hind end probably due to arthritis. He is approx 120 lbs. Hulk was given up by his owner to the NYC shelter because the father in the family was moving out of state. He lived with a family who had teenage children and their female malamute who they did not give up. We're told Hulk was the husbands dog.. Large dog experience required. Hulk will be located in NJ sometime the week of 3/25/06. He will be neutered as soon as his cold clears up. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. *Adopters MUST be at least 25 yrs old and reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do homevisits prior to the pup going to its new home. *We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall. Adoptions Application
