Young Male Siberian Husky / Mixed

Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. Adoptions Application Smokie is a newly turned three-year old striking, male Siberian Husky. He is on the slender side for a male husky, around 50 lbs. Good with other dogs & VERY good with all children, babies too! He is a gentle, loving dog. Housetrained and knows sit and paw, working on down. Likes to give Husky hugs, enjoys being petted on the head & under his neck. He's wonderful inside of the house, settles down quickly. He likes Kongs stuffed with treats (sometimes carries the Kong around in his mouth), chewing rawhides and also to play catch with tennis balls. He enjoys being a housedog and likes to go for walks too. This boy must be seen in person to appreciate his true beauty, a little too close up a shot on his nose, he really is stunning. Currently sleeps outside the door of his foster parent's bedroom. His coat is beautiful & shiny and mostly black. Walks well on the leash, enjoys looking at nature. Also rides well in the car. Smokie used to live with a female Akita, larger than him. He probably would do fine in a fenced in yard just as a place to go to the bathroom and for some exercise, not as an all day thing. Fence should be at least 5 feet high. Smokie needs a NEW FOSTER HOME at the end of August/Sept., please open your heart & home to him until he finds his forever home. :-) COME MEET ME at the Sparta Pet Centre on Main Street, in Sparta, NJ on Sunday, 8/7/05 from 1-3PM! Also at the Pathmark in Lk. Hopatcong on Rte. 15 North on Sat., 8/13/05 from 10AM-1PM!!
