Young Female Siberian Husky / Mixed

Winter is a 4 yr old female Siberian Husky who is as sweet as can be.. and who also happens to have deformed back legs. She arrived weighing in at just 23 pounds & very weak. Her coat is falling out & she is tired & hungry but still finds the strength to offer kisses. She was found as a stray in NYC. Winter will have x rays & visit a specialists to see if her legs can be corrected. She is walking & is not in pain, she is just a bit slower than your typical sibe. This little girl has so much to offer a special family who will treasure her. UPDATE! After a full check-up & x-rays our vet found Winter's hips to be fine but she has 2 patella luxations. She will be visiting our specialist Dr. Scavelli to see if her knees can be corrected with surgery Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
