This pretty girl was dumped at a rural shelter in NC where she was without heat, even less hope and on top of that pregnant. Our NC foster home saw her there and just couldn’t leave her there to die. We are now trying to find her a place where she can give birth in peace and have her babies until they are 8 weeks old and go to their forever homes. She is about 1-2 years old, about 40lb and has the most soulful eyes. She is a really really sweet, mellow but also playful girl. She likes other dogs but what she likes even more is snuggling. She is not hyper at all, incredibly sweet and overall just perfect. She would do really well in any family and because she is so mellow a perfect match for kids. Layla is also House and Crate trained. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Matawan, NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience. NO EXCEPTIONS.
