Baby Male Siberian Husky / Mixed

11/15/03 - Lightning has been adopted. Lightning and Bolt are littermate siberian huskys. They are both five months old. Both are black and white. Lightning is on the left and Bolt is on the right. Lightning has 2 blue eyes. He is sweet and good natured pup.. Not as daring as Bolt. Bolt has one blue eye and one eye that is mostly blue with some brown in it. He is also sweet and a good natured pup. He is a bit more daring than Lightning. He is also a bit more on the dominant side with other dogs. He learned how to go up and down the stairs in one day...he's still a little frightened though of doing it ....but he does. He sometimes gets car sick. A vet visit 7/25 found them both to be around 35-36 lbs and healthy. Vaccinated and microchipped. Both were neutered 7/28. They need work learning to walk on leash. and with housebreaking - they have never lived in a home before. They were turned over to us by a LI petstore because they never sold them and now had gotten too big. :So they spent the first months of their life in a cage. (( They love the fenced in yard at their foster home and zoom all around. Happy pups. They do not have to be adopted together. Application, homevisit and contract. Adoption donations start at $250.00 - this is due to the rising costs of veterinary care and boarding fees which are paid for out of our own pockets. As we are not funded by anyone - adoption donations help to offset only a part of our cost of getting the dog ready for adoption. All dogs are up to date on shots, altered, microchipped, heartworm tested and on preventive, wormed, given flea & tick meds, groomed and given a new leash and collar.
