Meet our girl Gene! Gene came to us from the NY ACC with a bad pyometra. Luckily we were able to get her to the vet for emergency surgery.Though she looks like a chihuahua in this picture, she is actually a Yorkie! Due to a horrible skin infection, she needed her whole body to be shaved. Now she is happy, healthy and looking for a home.

She is approx. 6 -7 yrs old and loves other dogs. Due to her small size, only 4lbs, she would do best in a home with older children.
