Juneau

Young Male Siberian Husky

This pet is no longer available for adoption.

Juneau was just saved from a Manhattan shelter. He is absolutely gorgeous. His foster home says that he loves everyone and is good with kids also. He's 10 months to one years old and dog friendly, played with a St. Bernard this past w/e. He rides good in the car and is an affectionate boy. He is also crate-trained. Please note that Juneau is fostering in the NY area, so if you are in that area or in NJ and want to adopt him, please do send in an application. We also accept applications the Greenwich, CT area. His foster parent says this: Dogs: He is great with other dogs. He romped around with a St. Bernard, and was friendly with a miniature Italian Greyhound. Food Aggression: Absolutely no food aggression at all. We were feeding him hamburger and rice and he would just sit there when we stuck our hand in it. We would even take it away from him and he was fine. NO Toy Aggression: Absolutely no aggression with toys, etc. We take stuff away from him and he’s fine. He loves to play with toys and flip them in the air. Miscellaneous: He loves to play and is gentle. When you feed him something, he barely touches your fingers. Please fill out an application to adopt this sweet boy today. My adoption fee is $300 and I am fixed, microchipped and up-to-date on all my shots. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Matawan, NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience. NO EXCEPTIONS. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. Online Adoption Application Website: http://www.huskyhouse.org
