Meet Mamma Mia! Mia was rescued from a kill shelter, where she was at risk of being euthanized while pregnant (and seriously malnourished). She was pulled out of the kill shelter just in time and actually went into labor during the car ride from the shelter! Despite being so underweight, Mia was able to care for her 7 puppies (while Husky House helped restore her to a healthy weight), who are all thankfully very healthy. All of her puppies have since been adopted, but Mia is still looking for a loving forever home of her own! Mia is a very sweet, intelligent dog. She is easy to train, walks gently on a leash, and does well with all people (including kids)! Mia can be picky with her canine friends and may do best as the only pet in the home.
