Reese

Baby Female Bernese Mountain Dog / Poodle (unknown type)

Meet Reese! She isn’t available for adoption just yet, but we couldn’t wait any longer to share her cute little face. Reese is a mini Bernadoodle puppy who came to husky house with some serious medical issues: a dual aortic arch, which caused megaesophagus. Her original owners surrendered her to Husky House as they were not able to afford the surgery to address these medical issues. The initial plan for Reese was to wait a months before scheduling the surgery so she could gain size, but the procedure had to be moved up when she suddenly started choking one day. Thankfully, she survived the surgery that was skillfully performed by Dr. Hoelzler at Garden State- a surgery that only four dogs have survived EVER! Reese is still recovering and will be available for adoption once she is able to eat like a regular dog. Reese is a typically puppy: sweet, snuggly, playful, and dog friendly.
