Baby Female Bernese Mountain Dog / Poodle (unknown type)
This pet is no longer available for adoption.
Meet Reese! We were told that Reese is a “mini Bernadoodle” who came to Husky House as a puppy with some serious medical issues: a dual aortic arch, which caused megaesophagus. Her original owners surrendered her to Husky House as they were not able to afford the surgery to address these medical issues. The initial plan for Reese was to wait a few months before scheduling the surgery so she could gain size, but the procedure had to be moved up when she suddenly started choking one day. Thankfully, she survived the surgery that was skillfully performed by Dr. Hoelzler at Garden State- a surgery that only four dogs have survived EVER! Reese has recovered and can now eat small meals like a regular dog. She does not have to use a Bailey Chair, but she needs to have her meals and snacks spaced out. This can be a problem, because this little girl LOVES her snacks lol. Reese is sweet, snuggly, playful, and dog friendly and she’s only about 9 pounds! Interested in applying for Reese?
