Meet Goldie! Goldie is a “pocket pittie” who was used for backyard breeding before coming to Husky House. She was initially brought to the vet by her previous owners in severe pain while pregnant with her fourth litter of puppies, but they refused treatment and refused to surrender her. The following day, Goldie was brought to Husky House and surrendered, although unfortunately she was in worse shape and was unable to walk. She was immediately rushed to surgery but at this point, all of her puppies were dead and Goldie had a severe infection that she is still recovering from. Despite all that she has been through, Goldie is sweet, gentle, and is great with people and other dogs. She is doing well in her foster home where we learned that she’s even good with cats!
