Meet Phoebe! Phoebe is a wooly husky who came to Husky House from a puppy mill. When Phoebe arrived at Husky House, we were surprised to learn that she is not shy (like many mill dogs) and knows many basic commands including Sit, Down, Paw, Other Paw, and Speak! After further investigation, we learned that Phoebe was purchased from Craigslist by the owner of the mill but quickly decided to give her up after noticing that she wasn’t getting pregnant. Phoebe is an energetic dog who loves walking on leash and playing with other canine friends. Phoebe can be chatty and therefore would not do well in an apartment or townhome. She also appears to have a high prey drive and therefore needs a home without small dogs, cats, or other small animals. Interested in adopting Phoebe?
