Baby Female Domestic Short Hair / Mixed

Please help this kitty find a home! She's about 7 months old. She came to someones door practically asking for help -- she was starving and cold. She just sat there and looked at them. She had the handle of a plastic shopping bag pulled over her head. She could have strangled at any time. The bag was flapping; it must have been very frightening for her. The handle was really tight around her neck, but we were able to catch her and bring her to a wonderful vet, Dr. Sara Winikoff, who removed it. She's also been spayed (she was in the early stages of pregnancy), tested for everything (negative), and vaccinated. She's being socialized now by Dr. Winikoff and staff. She needs a home desperately.
