Kobe

Young Female Siberian Husky

This pet is no longer available for adoption.

Meet Kobe, an adorable female husky puppy. Kobe’s family brought her to an emergency vet on Long Island when she hurt her leg. They refused any treatment, even x-rays and refused to surrender her to a rescue. The vets at the ER felt bad, so they put a cast on her and sent her home. Three days later, she was brought by her owners to a kill shelter in NYC. Husky House took her and brought her straight to an orthopedic specialist. She had surgery and has been going to weekly physical therapy with her foster mom. She’s great with kids, dogs and ok with cats. She’s crate trained, since she had to have crate rest during treatment, and will let you know when she has to go out to potty. She doesn’t shred her bed or toys and loves to play tug of war but will let go if you tell her “mine.” She’s good on a leash, since she’s only been leash walked. Previous Siberian Husky experience is required to adopt Kobe. Interested in adopting Kobe? Please visit www.huskyhouse.org today to fill out an application.
