Mello was recently rescued from a NYC kill shelter, where he was about to be euthanized because he wasn’t doing well in his kennel, biting at the bars and howling loudly. Who can blame him? It’s a loud and scary place! He has been with us for a week and is living in a common area with other dogs and is adapting nicely. We would recommend a home with another dog to keep him company and an adopter who isn’t gone for long periods of time. Apply to adopt Mello at huskyhouse.org.
