** COME & MEET ME at SnowDog Lodge's Grand opening on 12/10 & 12/11 from 10AM-3PM, Rte. 34, Matawan, NJ (across from a Storage Center and next to a bicycle shop). SANTA PICS TOO as a fundraiser for our opening. ** Stogy is a very affectionate, submissive, playful, young puppy who needs a forever home. "Affectionate" - Will come up to you and lay right by your side (as long as there is a dog bed or room on your bed). He'll place his head on your lap just to say hello (but will most likely want his head rubbed). "Submissive" - Ears back when being approached but tail always wagging. He can be fear submissive with more dominant dogs and will go into his crate when he doesn't want to be bothered. "Playful" - Loves to stand on his hind legs when a treat is involved. Will go into play stance anytime a tennis ball is around. Is a little mouthy when playing with him with the tennis ball or playing tag with him. Stogy is housebroken and crate trained and lives with 4 other dogs in his foster home. The pictures shown, show his fur shaved down by previous inexperienced husky owners. It is slowly growing back. Would do very well as an only dog around the house or with another dog that is not dominate and more laid back. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
