Come meet Keena and her friends at our Adoption Day at Petco in Phillipsburg, NJ on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 11 to 3 Keena is a complete snuggler - loves to be with people but is also fine with hanging out on her tv bed. She walks well - still needs a little training but she gets better with every walk. She is an agouti coat husky with blue eyes, on the petite side, very friendly. Great in the dogpark, but would not recommend with small dogs or cats High fence, very Soft and shiny. Good appetite and is not food aggressive. Likes treats. Sits and lays down on command - working on shaking paws. Loves to play - loves to run - recommend an active person or family. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
