Bones

Baby Male Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed

This pet is no longer available for adoption.

(March 15, 2010) Hello, my name is Bones and approximately 4-5 mos old.  I was recently found and rescued by a good Samaritan who found me injured while he was walking his 2 dogs.  The good Samaritan took me to Animal Specialty Center.  I have a fractured front leg, fractured rib and bruising of the lung.  ASC fixed me all up and now have a metal plate on my leg but all is good and I am able to walk around and in a few weeks start playing again like a normal puppy. Husky House heard of me and took me into there foster program.  I currently live with my foster parents and 3 other Siberian Huskies.  I am really attached to my foster parents and it's only been 2 days.  The other 3 dogs are cool but my foster parents really don't let me play with them until my injury is completely healed.  Hopefully after my staples are removed I can play like I want to.  I am house trained and learning how to use a doggy door by my cone doesn't help me learn that much right now.  I do know how to sit also. Questions will only be answered if a complete application has been complete.  MUST have pit bull / bully breed experience. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall. Online Adoption Application Website: http://www.huskyhouse.org Adoption Donations are as follows: Puppies (under 1 year ) $350-$450 Adults (1 year -6 years) $300 Seniors (7years & over) $150-$200 Small Breeds - $400 (not including seniors)
