Baby Male Siberian Husky / Mixed

Hi my name is name Buck. I am a 10 month old white & cream colored, blue eyed Siberian Husky male, who was purchased from a pet shop by an 18 year old boy, who thought he could take care of me. He didn’t realize all the responsibilities of being a Husky owner. As of January 24, 2010 my 18 year old owner moved to Breckenridge Colorado. I am a good boy. I have learned a few tricks and basic commands. I am housetrained and I will ring the bells on the door when I have to go outside. I can sit and lie down and even give a paw and kisses when asked. I love to fetch and play with socks. Now that my owner has moved on, I’m left to play by myself! I love treats and need companionship! I don’t like my crate unless it’s for bedtime. I have enjoyed sleeping next to my owner. He taught me some bad habits such as, sleeping in his bed, and lying beside him on the couch. But, it’s not too late for me. I can learn new rules and tricks if giving a chance. I deserve a second chance. Please rescue me! I have had all my shots and am in good health. I am also neutered. He fed me California natural Organic fish blend 2x a day, and gave me plenty of fresh fruits such as, apples, bananas, blueberries and veggies. I do much better on a high fiber diet! I love attention and praise from my owner. I love my belly rubbed and will cuddle with you. I need a home where people understand the nature of my breed and will love me and play with me. I would also love to be with another dog. I have had supervised play with two Shih Tzu’s. But, they are quite a bit older than me and will only tolerate me for a little while. I am the perfect age to be rescued! I have so much time to give you. I am ready for a dedicated new owner. Please give me my chance. I will love you forever. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
