Sasha

Baby Female Border Collie / Siberian Husky / Mixed

This pet is no longer available for adoption.

UPDATE-2-5-10 Sasha is a 7 month old Border Collie or Australian Shepherd/Husky Mix who was abandoned at an animal hospital after being hit by a car. She had a fractured leg which has healed beautifully and now Sasha is full of life! Sasha loves to party, and cats, dogs, and kids are invited!! She enjoys everyone's company and has completed puppy training so she is very easy to get along with. She is house broken and crate trained. She would make a great addition to a home, and she deserves a very happy ending. Introducing Sasha! She was dumped at a local animal hospital with a fractured leg, but she's healing now and getting lots of TLC from the staff there. Sasha is about 5-6 months old, spayed, and almost house trained. She will have to be under a vet's care until mid February when her cast can come off. She lives with 5 cats and 3 dogs at her foster home and does great with them all, though she does playfully chase the cats. She backs off when they give her a swat! Sasha is doing basic obedience now and would do well to continue her training, especially with regards to mouthing and jumping. She loves stuffed toys and anything with a squeeker in it! She's a doll and her foster mom adores her. She needs a fairy tale ending to her story. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
