Updated 9/7/2009 - Joey has been living in a foster home for the last 2 weeks and is having a blast living with 4 other Siberian Huskies who constantly want to play.  He learned how to use a doggy door, is almost house broken and is crate trained.  For more information, please fill out an online application (see link below) and any additional questions, please email pat@huskyhouse.org. Meet Joey...a 12 week old husky mix boy who just arrived at the house. Joey & his family were abandoned in an outdoor kennel in the backyard in this summer heat. Everyone is now safe & cool at Husky House & looking for a new home. Joey is a sweet little boy who loves to play, he is up to date on shots, dewormed, neutered & microchipped. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
