Rhett

Baby Male German Shepherd Dog / Siberian Husky / Mixed

This pet is no longer available for adoption.

Rhett is approximately 10 weeks old and is about 6 lbs. He appears to be a little husky / shepherd mix. Rhett is in a foster home in TN. He and his siblings were very ill when rescued from the shelter, but they have gotten extensive vet treatment, and Rhett is in recovery. He will come to NJ once he is medically cleared, hopefully by the end of December / beginning of January. Rhett will be a great family dog for someone or a single owner; he craves attention but has a sense of independence about him as not to be too needy. He is a laid back and fun puppy! Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ/Philadelphia/Bucks County, PA area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
