Young Female Siberian Husky / Mixed

Poor Venus was found as a stray in Edison NJ. Husky House found out about her the night before she was scheduled to be euthanized.. & asked that they give us a chance to come evaluate her. When we arrived we were horrified at her condition.. this tiny little girl looks like she was burned. Her coat is brittle like it has been burnt & her neck is hairless. The vet said the hair around her neck may not grow back, nothing a cute bandana couldn't cover up. VENUS is black & white and has pretty blue eyes. She is also very tiny for a sibe, maybe only 25 lbs. Venus will need lots of TLC, good food & supplements to get her back on track.. Venus has been groomed as of 1/18/09. SHE CANNOT GO TO A HOME WITH CATS OR very small children. She will be a tiny little beauty in no time. This girl deserves a break..please open your heart & home to our little girl. Venus will need work with housetraining per her foster parent but appears to get along well with other dogs. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
