We are all so very sad but Blue did not come back to us safely and was hit by a car. Wear your silver harness proudly, Blue, we'll see you in time at the Bridge. BLUE ESCAPED FROM HIS FOSTER HOME ON Saturday, 11/8/08. He's been seen running in Cranbury, NJ. Blue is a one to two year old white husky with blue eyes. Blue is a bit timid but SO sweet--he just needs some individual love and attention to come out of his shell. Blue was rescued from a NC kill shelter. Husky House saw this photo of Blue with a catch pull around his neck, and it just broke our hearts. Blue would be a wonderful addition to any family! Blue will be fostering with a female Siberian. We will let you know more in a few days once he's in his foster home, posted 11/6/08. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ/Philadelphia/Bucks County, PA area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
