Munchkin--ADOPTED!

Baby Male Siberian Husky / Mixed

This pet is no longer available for adoption.

***My special rescuer is Charlie Schwartz, whose gift of a Husky House membership saved my life. Thank you Charlie! Love, Munchkin ADOPTED!!! UPDATE: Munchkin is being adopted by his foster parents!!! Rance, Shannon and Cooper are so excited to be Munchkin's forever family. And, our little miracle boy is almost totally recovered after healing from surgery! Munchkin is the runt of his litter and has special needs. He was diagnosed with a persistant right aortic arch (PRAA) and megaesophagus. He also has a "little eye" that is undeveloped. Munchkin had surgery to correct the PRAA. The surgery was successful, and Munchkin recently shed his feeding tube! He has been doing amazingly well, and his doctor is optimistic for a full recovery! Munchkin will most likely be on a special diet, but he can lead a very normal life with the right love, care and attention. Please email to find our more about Munchkin, his care and condition. Megaesophagus is a condition that is manageable--Muchkin will live a happy and full life given the right care and love! Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ/Philadelphia area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
