Garth

Baby Male Siberian Husky / Mixed

This pet is no longer available for adoption.

Garth's foster parents say that he is good in a crate and appears to be crate-trained. It's hard to tell from his picture, Garth has one blue eye and the other eye is a parti-eye (Brown on top & blue on the bottom). Beautiful baby boy was found in the city shelter. Just 10 months old. He arrived at Husky House on 8-22-08. Garth is your typical hi-energy Siberian, he needs to be trained some of the basic commands (Sit, etc.). Because of his energy level, a home with older children is preferred as well as a home with Siberian experience. This boy will be worth the time put into him, he's just a young teenager looking for his place. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
