COME & MEET ME ON Saturday, 9/27/08 from noon-1:30PM at Mike's Feed Farm in Riverdale, NJ. You will not be disappointed. Hi, I'm Ice. I'm a 6 year old male Siberian boy and boy am I sweet and calm, says my foster mommy. I'm a nice size, I'd say about 65 lbs. I LIKE CATS TOO! I know sit & down. I also like squeaky toys, not to mention baby carrots and slices of cheese, wahoo ! Ice's History: He lived with both of his owners (who both have since died, this is why he has come into rescue, very sad time for him). He lived with them from 10 weeks old until early August 2008. He also lived with a mini-schnauzer. Ice is also good at the vet per his visit on 9/17/08, good to know for his potential new family. **He's good in the car and in the crate and very good at the vet's office!** I do like food, especially human food. I stole a corn on the cob the other day, (hee-hee), it was on the floor, hey up for grabs as far as I'm concerned. I'm basically a "dream come true." I've been with "The House" since they saved me on 8/15/08. I'm searching for my forever home, could that be yours? Since I've been through so much, a quieter-type home with no small children would be best. Teenagers would be fine. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
