One is deep, chocolate brown and the other is a piercing sky blue. Lorna has arrived to HH on 8/17/08. Her foster mom says she is very, very sweet and appears to be crate-trained. She likes to play with rope toys and also knows "sit." Lorna is approximately one year old and is a black husky mix. She is very obedient and wants to please. She is sweet and looking for lots of love. Lorna walks nicely on a leash and is good with other dogs. She is good with cats, wonderful with people--a real sweetheart. Lorna loves to go swimming in the doggie pool and splash around to keep cool in the summer heat. We don't often see these gorgeous black huskies--Lorna has two sisters, Lily and Lucy, just like her if you would like to adopt one of these rare beauties! Lorna was saved from a high kill shelter in GA. Won't you consider adopting this beautiful, sweet girl? Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ/Philadelphia area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. You must reside within a one hour drive from either NYC or from Bridgewater NJ. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
