Come meet me this Saturday, September 27th 12-3PM at Mikes Feed Farm (www.mikesfeedfarm.com) in Riverdale. Rocky is a calm, mellow 6-8 year old red and white husky. He is loving, good with other dogs and an all around sweet dog. Rocky is said to be good with CATS too! Rocky loves to eat and will do anything for a treat. He acts like he was a spoiled boy before that fateful day that he was found at Home Depot in GA--he is housebroken and tells you if he needs to go outside. Rocky is even cat friendly! Rocky has finally found safety and love through rescue, but what he really needs is a family to call him own. Won't you consider adopting this miracle boy Rocky is due to arrive at "The House" approximately 8/11/08! HE DOES NEED A FOSTER HOME, at the least? Rocky was found lying in a Home Depot parking lot in GA. He was non-responsive. A group of dedicated volunteers saved this sweet boy and got him the medical attention he needed. When Husky House saw the photographs of Rocky in distress, we couldn't turn away. Please note, that at this time, Husky House does not adopt out of the immediate NY/NJ/Philadelphia area. The minimum age for adopters is 23 years old. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions because we do home visits prior to the pup going to its new home. We do not adopt out Siberian puppies (under 1 year of age) unless you have prior Siberian experience or have researched the breed thoroughly. We DO NOT place in homes that rely on the invisible/electric fence as the sole means of containment. If your yard is fenced in - your fence must be at least 5 feet tall.
